With Keppinger Traded to SF Astros Call-up Altuve

The Houston Astros have called up 21 year old prospect Jose Altuve to replace Jeff Keppinger at 2B.  Although he stands only 5 feet 7 inches tall Altuve has displayed a nice blend of speed and power in the minor leagues.  This season he has posted a line of .389-10-59-24 in just over 350 at bats.

Altuve will face Livan Hernandez in his first game today as a big leaguer. The Astros figure to keep Altuve between Micheal Bourn and Hunter Pence in the batting order, which is a great spot to be for him.  I would definitely recommend adding Altuve even if your already pretty deep at MI.
